Web Site Designer/Creative Director – Hillsboro, Oregon

Unifusion Web Design is seeking a well-rounded Web Designer to join its creative team as our Creative Director. Responsibilities will include leading our in-house and contract design team, speaking with clients, and designing outstanding user experiences for audiences in a wide range of industries. Our Creative Director must be able to work in a flexible, collaborative, and independent environment.  The Creative Director must be willing to take direction from others as well as take a leadership role in driving design excellence.  Requirements include:

Design:

1. At least 2 years of web design experience, including command of CSS and Javascript and ability to hand-code HTML
2. Advanced skills in Dreamweaver and Photoshop
3. Knowledge of information architecture and usability fundamentals
4. Strong portfolio of example sites
5. Flash and Illustrator skills a plus
6. Print capabilities abilities a plus

Leadership/Communication:

1. Ability to effectively communicate with and provide leadership to different teams and individuals including employees, contractors, and clients.
2. Ability to multi-task on several very different projects throughout the course of one day
3. The ability to work efficiently by meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality of product and services.
4. Enthusiasm, passion for design, ability to handle constructive criticism
